Another scrappy quilt
This quilt was made for an over sized king bed. It measures 110" x 125" totally scrapp, even has some old kitchen curtain fabric in this one. The only pic I have of it after it was quilted is one of it folded up. But I do have a pic of the full top and one of the top folded in half. This quilt no longer resides with me. It was sent to someone who loves it dearly. It was hard for me to part with. I going to enter this into the 2014 Bloggers Quilt festival under the large quilt catagory. I plan to make another one of these soon.
My scrappy Cat's Meow
This was my first MQ and my first scalloped border. I decided to go with all scrappy, since I didn't have the yardage to meet the fabric requirements.I'm entering this into Amy's 2014 Bloggers Quilt Festival. Go have a look at all the beautiful quilts and be inspired by the creativity of other quilters. This was one quilt I haven't yet been able to part with because all the
time I put into making it. I love the way it turned out and am very
proud of it. It won Viewers Choice on the FB group that hosted the MQ,
it also won a blue ribbon at our county fair. It is presently on the bed
in our guest room, with a red bed skirt which sets it off nicely.

2014 Blogger's Quilt Festival
I wanted to enter this simple but modern quilt I made my daughter into Amy's Blooger Quilt featival. I haven't blogged in quite some time and then it was just here and there. I may just have a few new post because I have a couple new quilts I would like to enter. Go have a look at all the quilts and be inspired. And don't forget to vote for your favorites.
This quilt was made using fabric my daughter bought and brought to me and asked if I would make her a quilt from them. Only problem was, there wasn't near enough yarage to do it. So I used as much of the fabric she had brought me and finished the rest off with a big white background. Surprisingly it turned out beautifully. It may have not been quite as nice with out the white, so not enough was a good thing.
