Todays prices

I seen a sign that shows the reaction of most drivers . I can't help but wonder what this next generation is going to do with the price of housing, food and everyday necessities. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for someone just starting out. My daughter just bought a house and paid what I could have bought 4 similar houses for at her age. Where does this leave those that are not fortunate enough to have an education. I don't imagine that people working for minimum wage even make much more then what a tank of gas cost, much less the insurance. I really worry about the young folks coming up in today world. There is so many things going on that was just unheard of when I was young. I know God has a plan for each and everyone of us. I am so grateful that I won't have to endure some of the things going on in todays world. I would love to be young again, but not if I had to face what this next generation will.

  1. I just had to save this sign for my son, he'll love it.

I remember signing my sons up for baseball at $10.00. I had to help out with signing up my grandson this year. It cost $110.00! They explained the high cost as being the cost of insurance for the kids to play. I just don't know how young people with children will manage.

  2. It's going to be harder and harder to have the option of being a stay-at-home mom with today's prices. I'm glad I'm at this end of the spectrum rather than starting out now.

  3. I'm in the WTF category...well, when DH fuels up anyway. I found out my Acura will run on OMG without clattering. And I've started driving at 60 mph on the highways around here - won't be able to on the interstates or I'll get run over. Haven't had a chance to check my mileage yet.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. DM wants to make more pickles...I think we have quite enough thank you! LOL

Love your baby photos! We have none in the family that I can play with. Sigh... Nieces have babies, but they have GMs so I'm left out all around. One of these days... ;o)

  4. The sign is
    so funny!
    Had to show my kids!

    You've got a wonderful
    blog going here!
