My attempt at Holiday PC's

I join a swap for Holiday PC on the HGTV message board. I had to make 4, I made several with the button wreaths and then got worried that they might not go through the mail. So I made some that I could just stick stamps on and mail. I ordered some plastic envelopes for the button ones so I'll probably just send everyone 2 PC. Now for me the hard part is deciding which one to send to who!

  2. They came out so cute! Did you stitch on the swirly's on the blue background? Looks like a tree to me. I made one pc a couple of years ago, need to try again.

  3. If you click the pic it get huge and you can see, I had stitched one with metalic thread, what a nightmare. That stuff tangles with just about every stitch. took me a whole day to make it. The second one I stitched with metalic thread but on the machine, not as bad but kept breaking the thread. I ran out of metalic thread so tried another with white thread. I added the glitter, but wasn't too good with that, these 3 turned out the best the other ones went in the trash,LOL

That gold thread is terrible to sew with...I have yet to find one I like.
I did make some p/ cards last year, but have not had the time this year ..

  6. Actually, I lost Carolina Crossroads and not Old Tobacco Road thank goodness--I think that's the one you liked with the pretty colors. I never had a picture of Carolina Crossroads put up and that's why I was so proud of it. From now on I'll definitelty have a backup disk!!!
    Thanks for your comment!!!

  10. Hi! Kisses. Your blog is beautiful.
